There have been many English translations of Kuchizuke on the internet ever since it was released, however I did this translation to practice my Japanese skills. Translation Notes:

• The lines "the darkness there is bitter" and "the darkness here is sweet" is a reference to a Japanese folk song, "Hotaru Koi". Originally it goes: "Come over here, fireflies, the water there is bitter and the water here is sweet". Also, the intro Imai played was "Hotaru Koi". Here's an example of the folk song by the Morimoto Sisters.
• Initially, the line "hush now, seal your lips; close your eyes, give in" was translated as "seal your lips, close your eyes". However, when I played the subs with the video, the translation felt lacking and somehow the original context of the lyrics seemed lost. Originally, Sakurai wrote the lyrics as "唇を塞ぐよ  目を閉じて" or "shut your lips, close your eyes". It was a command and a seduction at the same time, so I added some artistic license to my translation and came up with "hush now, seal your lips; close your eyes, give in" instead.

• Kuchizuke was released as a single last September 01, 2010 under BMG Funhouse/RCA Ariola.
• Kuchizuke -SERIAL THRILL KISSER- was released in the album Razzle Dazzle last October 13, 2010 under BMG Funhouse/RCA Ariola.
• Kuchizuke is the opening theme of the anime adaption of SHIKI.
• The video used was from BUCK-TICK's Go On Razzle Dazzle Tour 2010.
